Developed technology for the catalytic oxidation of hexane to cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol used as nylon precursors.

Commercialization
1950

Developed and commercialized ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol(EO/EG), maleic anhydride(MAN) and terephthalic acid (TA) technologies. The TA technology later was sold to Amoco (now BP).
